With the permission of the US Army, the Edison
Angels was started in the 1970's as a place for the young girls
of Edison to play recreational softball.
Over a 20 year period, the league expanded from one open field to
five fenced fields with dugouts. In its 30+ years of existence
the Angels have grown from a straight recreational softball
league with all-star teams to a top notch recreational program
and competitive travel program.
The Angels have captured many ASA state and regional titles in its
rich history. The Angels field five travel teams in 5 age
divisions ranging from 10u to 18u, occasionally fielding an 8u
team. The Edison Angels is an ASA league that has played Pony,
NSA, and FAST National tournaments.
Our complex is considered one of the best in the state and we have
played host to many college showcases as well as college games
over the years.
